The Fairchild "Airport Plaza" project was a multi-phased program to convert an existing defense plant consisting of 1.8 million square feet of abandoned structures into a retail shopping center. The project included the demolition of the abandoned structures, design and construction of a completely new infrastructure and constructing 850,000 square feet of retail space. This space includes a multiplex theater, a new home for Home Depot, Models, Staples, Borders Books and Prime Time Learning Center to mention a few. The coordinated efforts of architects, engineers, developers, property owner and municipal officials was coordinated by Savik & Murray, LLP.

Provided survey, design and construction inspection services for the reconstruction of 1,500 linear feet of existing bulkhead. The project included new vinyl bulkheading, decking, power pedestals, electrical work, water, paving, drainage and restoration. The existing road was raised and a new drainage swale was created to alleviate flooding and settle out pollutants.

This project is a collaboration between numerous architectural and design firms. The construction of a secondary school for approximately 2,000-2,200 pupils in the newly established Eastport-South Manor Central High School District was approved in 1998. The construction area encompasses some 74 acres in which Savik & Murray, LLP. is responsible for all site work, including the following:
